Here's everything you need to know aboutthe Montreal Mushroom Festival.
What is MMF all about?
We aim to connect the community of mycophiles, enabling them to share their knowledge and talents while participating in a broader movement aimed at expanding consciousness through our connection to mushrooms and the natural world, with the spirit of ecology, sustainability, and community building.
When & where is MMF taking place?
The festival will take place on October 18th & 19th, 2024. The event will be held indoors at our venue on 2023 Boul. Saint-Laurent, Montréal only a 3-minute walk from St-Laurent metro station.
Will the festival be held indoors?
Yes the festival will be held indoors as it will be in October.
Will there be magic mushrooms for sale at the festival?
Due to the current legal status of magic mushrooms in Quebec, we cannot distribute nor encourage the consumption of psilocybin-containing mushrooms at the festival. To be clear, we believe that individuals should have a legal and sovereign right to alter their consciousness in any way they choose, and that our current laws would benefit from revision.
What's the festival lineup & schedule?
Our team is currently foraging a diverse lineup of speakers, DJs, artists, vendors, chefs and more. Stay tuned for updates as we build out the schedule!
What language are the events held in?
English.
What is included in the ticket?
Depending on whether you purchased a day pass or a full festival pass, your ticket grants you access to all talks, panels, workshops, sonic healing odyssey, DJs and festivities happening on that day or both days, respectively. Please note that food, drinks and massages are not included in the ticket price.
Is the ticket refundable?
Unfortunately, tickets are not refundable. However, you may transfer your ticket to another person if you are unable to attend.
(Edited recently) This year's event will be for adults only. It is possible we will change this in the future.
What types of activities and attractions will be available at the mushroom festival?
There will be several mushroom-related talks, workshops, mushroom bazaar, ecstatic dance, DJ nights, live music, performances and massages.
Will there be food and drinks available? Will there be alcohol?
Yes, there will be food and drinks available for purchase at the festival. The venue will be alcohol-free in order to create a peaceful & conscious energy at the festival.
Is there parking available at the mushroom festival?
Since the venue doesn’t have dedicated parking spots, we encourage the use of public transportation for your convenience. Alternatively, you may have luck with the limited spots for street parking nearby.
Is the venue accessible for individuals with reduced mobility?
Yes! The venue is accessible for individuals with reduced mobility through the back entrance. For detailed directions and more information, please email us.
Can I volunteer, exhibit, vend, sponsor or participate in the festival?

Is the festival all about Magic Mushrooms?
While we offer certain talks about Magic Mushrooms, the festival aims to celebrate the fungi as a whole, as well as our relationship to them.
